Description Due to the popularity of the Le Grelot razors we have decided to stock a few more variants of these Medaille D’Or razors under this historic brand recently revived by Thiers Issard. In 1924 Pierre and Louis Thiers exhibited their razors in Algiers and were awarded a gold medal for excellence. The Medaille D’Or mark celebrated this achievement. This particular razor has a satin finish to both sides of the blade which bears the Le Grelot Medaille D’Or mark, but this time the scales are made from black horn. The combination makes for a truly stunning razor. The blade has a half hollowed grind, meaning the blade is slightly stiffer, thus making it a perfect choice for beginners and those with a more wiry or coarse beard growth.
