Description If you have made the investment of a Supreme Whole House Water Filter which is installed below the sink or outbuilding version, this 5 micron sediment prefilter will be installed to stop sand, sediment, rust and dirt from entering the system. This helps to protect your investment and aid in the performance of the water filter. Can be used to replace other brands. Standard 10″ water pre-filter. It is recommended that this 5 micron sediment prefilter is changed every 3-6 months, depending on the water quality to maintain optimal performance of your water filter. Use this water filter as a pre-filter for some of our mains water filters. It is important to note that even if your prefilter is not this dirty, it should be changed after 6 months to ensure optimal performance.
