HOLY THEOTOKOS GORGOIPIKO

The miraculous icon of the “Brzopomoćnica” (Quick Helper), with its model dating back to the 10th century, is located in the Dohiari Monastery on Mount Athos. It is one of the most venerated icons of the Most Holy Theotokos on Mount Athos (along with the “Portaitisa” in Iviron, the “Dostojno Yest” in Vatopedi, and the “Trojerečica” in Hilandar).
