The vehicle was designed as a “menacing, shark-like” assault vehicle and intended to operate as an ambphibious, all-terrain vehicle. With no windows, the occupants operate the vehicle via internal monitors and are seated backwards to reduce the possibility of injury in the event of a crash. Captain Scarlet is wonderful example of early sci-fi television using marionette puppetry and scale model special effects.This is a fantastic diescast model of the Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle from Corgi.
