The progress of a pupil depends almost entirely upon the system in guiding his earliest studies. A complete method for instruction compresses into a small space all necessary instruction to avoid tedious explanations, which the student may not read, and to insert sufficient information and make the exercises practicable for the instrument and agreeable to the student.
