The Mk.Vb variant became the main production version of the Mark Vs and was constantly being modified throughout its production – everything from better cockpit hoods to bullet resistant panels were added.This detailed 1:48 model of the Spitfire Mx.Vb from Tamiya is a lovely addition to any avid model builder’s collection. The model kit comes with 50 pieces and fully assembled sits at 18.8 x 23.4 x 8cm and is aimed at intermediate difficulty model builders. As with most plastic models, gluing is required to assembled the pieces, which can then be painted when complete (glue and paint not included).
