The PCB-71 Bariatric Bed, 5-function, fully-profiling bed can accommodate a patient with a weight capacity up to 450Kg (1000lbs/71st).
Expandable in width from 99cm-137cm (39" to 54") and length 218cm -234cm (86" to 92"), the PCB-71 will fit through standard hospital doorways and accepts oversized mattresses. This bariatric bed boasts an impressive height-range of 39cm -76cm (15.5" to 30"). Set at its lowest height, the safety and dignity of the shorter patient is significantly enhanced when accessing and egressing the bed.
In addition, sturdily constructed "Helping Hand" side-egress bars allow patients to help themselves into and out of bed, promoting a general sense of independence whilst offering appropriate levels of security.
An optional swing-away trapeze allows patients to re-position themselves, yet rotates when not in use to eliminate any sense of confinement.
The bed's solid polypropylene headboards & footboards lift-off quickly and are designed for strength. Digital scales allow easy patient weight measurement without moving the subject out of bed. It's 5-function linear actuators operate smoothly and quietly, adjusting to a variety of positions.
